Back to School Ideas & Weekly Link Party

Our homeschool co-op and the local school system all start back to school on Monday. Yes, that's right! Monday, August 7 is coming at us way too fast. Wow! Where did the summer go?

When do your kids start their school year? Even if your kids aren't going back to school just yet, it's never too early to start planning and preparing. Inject some fun into this busy time of year with these super cute back to school ideas! There are teacher gifts, back to school snacks, organizers, printables, and more! I'm sharing them with the hope that you and your kids have a very happy start to the school year.
1. Chocolate Apples / The Country Chic Cottage
These apple-shaped chocolates give an apple for the teacher a whole new meaning. They make a sweet teacher gift for the first day of school or a fun after-school snack for the kids.

2. Faux Concrete School Organizer / The Country Chic Cottage
How neat are these? They're a decorative way to store school supplies for a homework station, desk, or homeschool room. They'd also make a fun teacher gift!

3. Back to School Candy Gram / Somewhat Simple
Sweeten the teacher up with this fun printable and all the candy that's intended to go with it. It's sure to brighten their day!

4. Ruler Frame / Dazzle While Frazzled
These adorable, school-themed picture frames make fun teacher appreciation gifts! They'd even be great for displaying those back to school photos of your kids. For home or for school, they're super cute!

5. Smart Cookie Gift Tag Printables / Somewhat Simple
Settle those first day jitters and give the kids a confidence boost with these encouraging tags. They're the perfect addition to a batch of homemade cookies!

6. The Wheels on the Bus Sentence Strips / A Little Pinch of Perfect
Add music and song to your first day of school with these fun printable sentence strips. These are, of course, intended for your younger students. ;)

7. Double-Sided Tissue Pouch / Gluesticks
These handmade pouches hold tissues on one side and sanitizer and chapstick on the other. They also tuck in nicely in a backpack or desk making them a portable and easy way for the kids to keep these essentials handy.

8. Back to School BINGO Checklist / The Life of Jennifer Dawn
Ditch the boring to do list for this fun BINGO Board Checklist. The goal? A BINGO Blackout and a successful start to the school year!

  2. UK schools only broke up last week and go back first week of September. Summer is only just getting started here - although you wouldn't know that from the weather, we've had a lovely May /June and now it is pretty awful! Maybe we need to rethink when our summer holidays are.
