Peach Pickin' in the South

During the summer months, the kids and I love going down the road to a local farm to pick fruit and berries!

Recently we went for some peaches. Let me tell you the backstory on these pictures...
Lydia Grace is eyeing Eli's basket because she is afraid he has picked more than her, and Eli is giving that squinched up, cheesy smile that two-year-olds are so good at. Gotta love them!

And Caleb just wanted to show me the peach leaf he had found. Sweetness!

That night I used some of our peaches to make delicious Peaches and Cream Smoothies. In true Southern fashion, I served them up in mason jars. Today I'm sharing the recipe over at See Vanessa Craft.

Let me know if you decide to make some for yourself. Do you have a smoothie recipe that you enjoy making? I'd love to hear about it!

Here are a few more cold treats to try...
Happy summer!
