DIY Cupcake Toppers

Disclaimer: I received the stickers from this post in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions and ideas are my own.
Yesterday I shared the party favors and favor tags for Lydia Grace's gymnastics themed birthday party.  Today I have a simple tutorial for making cupcake toppers!  I used the same customized gift tag stickers from Tiny Prints that were used for the tags, but any sticker can be turned into a cute cupcake topper. Here's how...
Materials
*stickers
*toothpicks or wooden skewers
*circle punch
*card stock
*scissors

Directions
1. Use the circle punch to punch out pieces from the stickers.
2. Punch an equivalent amount of circles from the cardstock.  Prepare the wooden pieces for your cupcake toppers.  If you are using long wooden skewers, use a pair of scissors to trim them down to a smaller size.
3. Peel the backing off a circle sticker and sandwich a wooden skewer in the middle of the sticker and a card stock punch.  Repeat to make the desired number of cupcake toppers.
4. Place the toppers into your cupcakes.

That's it!  Cute and simple cupcake toppers made from stickers!
Happy crafting!
