We carved our pumpkins last night. I included the kids as much as possible, but due to their ages, didn't allow them do the cutting. (For obvious reasons!) Letting them draw what they wanted carved on their pumpkin provided the perfect solution. I think their drawing skills may be better than my carving skills though. {chuckle} Tip: Putting down brown kraft paper beforehand really helped with the clean-up. Having a hubby willing to pick up pulp and seeds off the floor helped too though. Here's what we came up with...
If you have a little time to spare before carving, try this fun preschool science activity.
P is for pumpkin activities
Happy carving!
Looks like such FUNNNNNNNN !!
ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate Halloween and actually don't really have whole pumpkins here on the market (I will try to find them), but I'd personally would love to curve one like you did :)
And I'm sure my nephews would be thrilled as well
We did have fun! And we aren't big on Halloween either. We put the focus on fall! Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you do end up letting your nephews give this a try.
