Embroidery Hoop Wall Hangings

It's Part 2 of my laundry room transformation with Waverly fabric...
Using the same fabric that Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores sent me for this challenge, I also created wall hangings for the laundry room.  Here's how...

Materials
Fabric
Embroidery Machine
Basic Embroidery Supplies (scissors, thread...)
Sewing scissors
Embroidery Hoops
Double-sided tape

Directions
 * Gather your materials
*Follow the instructions in your embroidery machine manual to stitch words onto your fabric
*Place the fabric into embroidery hoops.

*Trim the excess fabric leaving only about 1/2 inch border.
*Place a strip of double-sided tape onto the inside of the embroidery hoop.
*Fold the fabric border over onto the tape.
*Hang the hoops.

Happy crafting!

  1. What a cute idea! Our laundry room is in the basement; the section of our basement that isn't much of a "room" but I hope to someday make it pretty. :) Gosh, this makes me want to get an embroidery machine. ;)

  4. I wish I was this talented. The letters would be especially difficult for me. I think this is talent. I'm one of those moms who just aren't gifted with art and crafts.
