Make Your Own:
I used photo storage boxes, small toys, and sand--all from Hobby Lobby--to make these mini sandboxes. Each box lid was decorated with stickers and coated with a layer of Mod Podge to secure the stickers to the box. Lydia Grace had a blast with them and even little Eli got in on the fun!
Oh the possibilities!
Have a happy playtime!
Very cute idea and a lot less of a mess than a huge sandbox! Love it!
ReplyDeleteYour kids are the cutest and what a fun idea!! Oh how I miss those days - my girls are 12 now!

ReplyDeleteThis is a really, really great idea! Perfect for a babysitting kit, or an activity during a family gathering. I LOVE the green sand safari- so out of the box for sand! Hey, if you have a second I'd love for you to link up to Sweet Sharing Monday! http://saynotsweetanne.com/2012/sweet-sharing-monday-11/

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! My boys would love that. They play in sand quite a bit, but never their own mini boxes. I really like the colored sand. You got it at Hobby Lobby?
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, all of the supplies came from Hobby Lobby. Don't you just love that place? I went armed with a few gift cards and this idea. :)
