Bake Cookies for Someone Special Today

You'll be glad you did, and so will they!

Lydia Grace and I baked cookies this weekend to take over to our new neighbors.  Southern hospitality won't die on my watch.  When I was little, I remember my momma taking something over to a new neighbor and not coming back for hours.  When she finally did come back, she had made a new friend--one she still keeps in touch with today.  Do you have a friend, family member, or neighbor who needs a special treat today?

Lydia Grace was so excited about sharing cookies with the neighbors that she also wanted to take some to her Mimi.  My second batch hadn't turned out as moist as the first, so unfortunately those were the ones we had to share with Mimi and Papa.  It's the thought that counts, though.  Right?

Happy Baking!
