Happy Sunday

I am sure you have noticed the lack of blogging lately...
It isn't that things have been slow around here or that anything is wrong.  In fact, a lot of good things have been happening lately.  Lydia Grace celebrated her 2nd birthday and had a party with her family and friends.  I have some great ideas for some crafty projects, and have actually been sewing some this weekend.  And we have continued to receive great news about this pregnancy.
As most of you already know...it is the pregnancy that has been the cause of my lack of blogging.  I have felt exhausted after working all day and then taking care of L.G. in the evenings.  By the time she goes to bed, I am heading straight to the couch or bed myself instead of the craft closet or the computer.  There is a time for everything, and this has been a time that I have needed to rest and just be with my precious family.  I've missed blogging.  I have met some truly incredible ladies through my blog.  It has been a way to record special family moments and Lydia Grace's milestones.  I wasn't very good about writing things down in her baby book.  This has been her baby book.  It has been my way to look back and remember.  It has also been my release as we faced the tragedy of two miscarriages.
As I come out of the first trimester of this pregancy, I know that I will not only gain a further peace that everything will be okay with this baby, but I will also regain my energy and be able to return to blogging, crafting, and sharing in the evenings instead of dozing on the couch.  I have enjoyed this season of rest though.  Sometimes it is something that us moms need to do  more of.  Spring Break is this week--a much needed rest from work.  I'm sure I will find a lot of time time to post pictures of L.G.'s birthday, share our Spring Break adventures, and get back to some crafting and sewing.  Have a Happy Sunday, and we'll chat soon!

  1. I really like this shot. It reminds me of the small town where I grew up. This looks just like the clock in the courthouse tower. The verse is great along with it.

  3. perfect clock shot for this verse. I often say this verse to myself. For instance..my hearts desire is to see my photography business build so I can help my family financially and the Lord has yet to bring that to pass..a time and a season. It's a peaceful reassurance! Sorry for your fatigue in this pregnancy. My first pregnancy was similar and honestly makes me nervous about being preggo again with another child to look after. Hope you get a boost of energy soon!
