Stenciling a "Wordle" on Fabric

One of the fabulous ladies I work with told me about the website WORDLE.  On this website, you can create word collages by typing in words, picking fonts, choosing a color scheme...
It is a lot of fun to play around with, and I had a blast making "word clouds" with words all about Lydia Grace.

Inspired by these collages, I decided to mimic the idea on one of Tim's old t-shirts which I am going to turn into a skirt for L.G.

I used my Cricut to make several stencils.

Using the word stencils, I dry brushed fabric paint onto the t-shirt.

I think it turned out great!

This is an inexpensive, easy way to create your own fabric.

Now I have to let it dry for 24 hours, iron the paint in order to allow it to set, wash the fabric, and then...

I can make a fun skirt for Lydia Grace.  I can't wait to show it to you!
